About the position Talent Connection is seeking a Business Development Partner to help introduce organizations that are hiring engineering and technology professionals. This is a commission-based contract opportunity designed for entrepreneurial individuals interested in business development, client acquisition, and the recruiting industry. The Business Development Partner will focus on identifying companies that are hiring technical talent and introducing Talent Connection’s recruiting services to hiring managers and decision-makers. Talent Connection will manage the recruiting process, candidate delivery, and client fulfillment once new opportunities are secured.

Responsibilities

  • Identify companies actively hiring engineering or technology professionals
  • Reach out to hiring managers, technology leaders, and decision-makers
  • Introduce Talent Connection’s recruiting services
  • Schedule introductory meetings with potential clients
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and maintain ongoing communication
  • Collaborate with the founder on outreach strategy and client engagement

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in business development, recruiting, or sales
  • Comfortable with outreach via LinkedIn, email, or phone
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales, recruiting, staffing, or business development
  • Familiarity with the technology or engineering industry
