Senior Software Engineer – Product
Job Description:
- Support discovery in a new area, in collaboration with Product, Success, and other business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product to rapid build initial prototypes and MVPs, owning the engineering workflow to identify, scope, prioritize, and deliver technical solutions.
- Drive technical decisioning and buildout, rightsizing our architecture early to balance time to market and support for future iterations and integrations.
- Facilitate quick iteration and learning by applying customer feedback to initial delivered prototypes.
- Communicate progress and findings, engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather and implement feedback
Requirements:
- At least 3 years designing and implementing progressively more complex full-stack engineering features and products
- Proficiency in React, Python, AWS, MongoDB
- Communication and collaboration skills, especially in engaging non-technical users or stakeholders
- Comfort operating in a fast startup environment and leveraging AI
- Nice-to-have (not required): Background in EdTech and/or education sector
- Experience taking a product from 0 to 1 either within a company or as a new startup
