. This critical role will be instrumental in developing and implementing complex actuarial models, pricing strategies, and risk management frameworks for a diverse portfolio of insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background, a deep understanding of insurance principles, and a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful actuarial analysis. You will work closely with underwriting, product development, and finance teams to assess risk, forecast financial performance, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, advanced knowledge of actuarial software, and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Membership in a recognized actuarial society is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and validate complex actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting. Perform rate-making and pricing analysis for new and existing insurance products. Calculate and review loss reserves, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct experience studies and analyze trends to inform pricing and underwriting strategies. Develop and implement risk management strategies, including capital modeling and solvency analysis. Collaborate with product development teams to design and launch innovative insurance products. Provide actuarial support to the finance and investment departments for financial reporting and planning. Communicate complex actuarial findings and recommendations to senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders. Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and advancements in actuarial science and technology. Mentor and guide junior actuaries and actuarial students. Perform ad-hoc actuarial analysis and support special projects as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant actuarial standards of practice and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Fellow (FSA) or Associate (ASA) designation from the Society of Actuaries (or equivalent). Minimum of 7 years of progressive actuarial experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on relevant product lines. Proven expertise in actuarial modeling software (e.g., Prophet, GGY AXIS, R, Python). Strong understanding of insurance operations, products, and financial principles. In-depth knowledge of reserving techniques, pricing methodologies, and financial modeling. Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
