[Remote] Junior Independent Contractor, Market Strategy and Understanding

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ipsos is one of the world’s largest research companies, primarily managed by researchers. They are seeking Independent Contractors to manage market research projects, design questionnaires, analyze data, and prepare reports that address client business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and address business needs/issues of respective clients
  • Manage multiple survey-based market research projects at once, within timeline and budgets, including working closely with colleagues in our operations groups to oversee all components of projects
  • Design questionnaires and plan analyses
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions; prepare reports; make recommendations based on the insights that address the client’s business needs

Skills

  • Years of relevant experience (supplier side market research preferred)
  • Available week days during North American business hours
  • Requires strong quantitative, research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to turn data into insights through analysis and storytelling
  • Must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial (i.e., ability to think independently)
  • Intellectually curious with a desire to better understand the 'why' behind the data
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required – market research, marketing, and/or business coursework/programs are an asset
