What You'll Do

As a Technical Writer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation that enables our customers to succeed with their cloud database initiatives. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Documentation Creation: Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for cloud database services, including critical customer journeys, conceptual explanations, and operational guidelines that help customers conduct business effectively
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that guide customers seamlessly through their cloud adoption
• Content Improvement: Collaborate with other documentation authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience across all touchpoints
• Feature Documentation: Document new features by working closely with engineering and product management teams, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all technical releases
• Customer Feedback Integration: Update and refine documentation in response to customer feedback and internal bug reports, maintaining currency and relevance
• Team Mentorship: Mentor and support other technical authors on the team, sharing best practices and fostering professional development
• Project Prioritization: Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing projects across multiple initiatives

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communication, or equivalent practical experience in technical writing or documentation development
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of technical writing experience, with a proven track record of creating clear, actionable technical documentation
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of databases, SQL, NoSQL concepts, and cloud product ecosystems
• Documentation Tools: Experience with HTML or Markdown for content creation and formatting
