Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service, communications, or related fields are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle both routine and complex inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, CRM platforms, and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities, with a track record of achieving satisfactory outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, remote environment while maintaining self‑discipline and motivation.
  • Flexibility to work early‑morning, evening, and weekend shifts to meet the needs of a nationwide member base.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with healthcare terminology, insurance plans, or member eligibility processes.
  • Familiarity with call‑center metrics such as Average Handle Time (AHT), First Call Resolution (FCR), and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
  • Certification in conflict resolution, de‑escalation techniques, or customer experience management.
  • Multilingual abilities—especially Spanish—are highly valued for serving diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively across multiple communication channels.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Empathy & Active Listening: Ability to understand the emotional context of each interaction and respond with genuine care.
  • Analytical Thinking: Quickly assess situations, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues across departments to deliver unified service experiences.
