Position Overview

As a Senior Program Manager – Virtual Healthcare Platform & Quality Engineering at arenaflex, you will own the programs and processes that ensure our proprietary veterinary technology platform operates at the highest standard of quality, reliability, and customer delight. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Design, and Veterinary Operations to drive end-to-end launch excellence for the world's largest pet virtual care platform.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that balances strategic program leadership with tactical execution. You will identify risks before they become incidents, orchestrate cross-functional release processes, build the reporting infrastructure that powers data-driven decisions, and serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and business stakeholders across arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

Release & Launch Leadership

  • Oversee the consumer acceptance testing (UAT) program for all major feature and product launches, including tester recruitment, scheduling, device coordination, results reporting, and post-launch retrospectives.
  • Manage internal software releases in close coordination with Operations: define release calendars, build supporting tooling, draft and distribute launch notes, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on go/no-go decisions.
  • Identify potential risk areas early in the release lifecycle and facilitate successful pre-release validation through proactive communication, scenario planning, and adaptability.

Quality Engineering & Bug Management

  • Own the end-to-end bug management system across the platform, partnering with engineering teams to ensure defects are properly prioritized, triaged, and resolved within committed timelines.
  • Perform initial discovery and triage on all new, non-urgent tickets submitted through the SNOW ticketing system, including pulling incident data, attaching Datacom tracking, reproducing issues, and capturing screen recordings for engineering analysis.
  • Run weekly triage forums with Product and Engineering to align on prioritization, root cause analysis, and remediation roadmaps.
  • Analyze the bug reporting workflow and recommend improvements to reduce the reporting burden on the veterinary team while expanding self-service channels for end users.

Service Reliability & Incident Analysis

  • Conduct weekly service incident reviews, quantify the business and customer impact of outages, track leading indicators, and recommend system improvements that progressively reduce service-impacting events.
  • Identify and incorporate additional sources of customer quality signals — including Customer Service tickets, Voice of the Customer surveys, and App Store reviews — into a unified quality intelligence framework.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Continuously identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to close operational gaps and elevate team performance.
  • Design, build, and own internal reporting mechanisms and dashboards; synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across arenaflex — including teams outside your immediate organization — to drive timely resolution of platform issues, and proactively escalate or seek support when needed.

Qualifications

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience in a fast-paced technology environment, ideally within e-commerce, mobile applications, or consumer-facing platforms.
  • Proven track record of owning software strategy end-to-end, from concept through delivery, and communicating impact to senior leadership.
  • Deep experience partnering with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and/or Design to deliver high-quality products and services that delight both internal and external customers.
  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable navigating a variety of mobile operating systems, PC hardware, and software tools, and able to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes, leveraging automation, and standardizing workflows at scale.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to track and guide multiple concurrent projects in a constantly shifting environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative working style and the confidence to lead through influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across disparate, geographically distributed teams.

Bonus Points For

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Deep familiarity with the pet care industry and emerging trends in veterinary telehealth.
  • Prior experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or beta testing programs for consumer-facing products.
