[Remote] Mortgage Funding Coordinator

Zillow is a leading real estate platform in the U.S. seeking a Mortgage Funding Coordinator to ensure accurate funding of loans and efficient closing processes. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain service standards and assist borrowers in achieving homeownership.
Responsibilities
- Initiate the wire transfer to disburse loan funds and review/approve executed closing documents to ensure a smooth, stress-free closing for our borrowers
- Review closing documentation and validate data within our Loan Origination System (Encompass)
- Initiate the wire for release to the settlement agent and ensure management is notified for wire approval
- Review and approve signed closing documents, notifying the settlement agent to release funds
- Communicate (Phone/Email) with the Settlement Agent if additional conditions are required
- Register the loan in the MERS system
- Collaborate with other Post-Closing team members to ensure the timely completion of all daily duties
- Maintain company service level and turn-time standards, including return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times

- 1+ years of experience in mortgage processing, closing, or post-closing
- Meticulous and quality-focused, taking pride in your work
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactively resolves problems in a dynamic, process-centered environment
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Google Suite
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
