The Opportunity

This role represents a unique opportunity to join arenaflex as one of multiple analytics experts on our prestigious Customer Experience team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to obsess over great customer experiences, identify opportunities for improvement, and justify strategic investments that enhance customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze customer data, measure the impact of our initiatives, and track customer sentiment toward their interactions with arenaflex and our competitors in the market.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst on the Customer Experience team at arenaflex, you will:

  • Act as the data expert on a balanced team engaged in key CX initiatives for the company
  • Combine business acumen with customer understanding and analytical expertise to make sound recommendations in your domain
  • Lead continuous discovery and data exploration to uncover insights about customer behavior and preferences
  • Develop deep expertise in the customer data domain, understanding what data is available, how to join it, and how to leverage it to tell compelling stories that drive decision-making
  • Track and measure the benefits of actions taken by the CX team using multiple stitched data sources
  • Design, create, and maintain advanced SQL queries that power dashboards and reporting systems
  • Develop and implement front-end dashboards using tools like Tableau to visualize complex data in accessible ways
  • Collaborate in designing the new CX data platform at arenaflex, contributing your analytical expertise
  • Create base queries and comprehensive documentation to assist business teams in connecting to new data sources
  • Handle ad hoc analytics requests with precision and deliver actionable insights
  • Establish reporting standards and best practices across the organization
  • Architect and implement a robust reporting framework that supports CX decision-making
  • Oversee data mining efforts to extract valuable insights from large datasets
  • Develop innovative programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end-users to determine requirements and deliver solutions
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Prepare data load scripts for mass data loading from various data sources
  • Apply varied database applications and analytical tools to solve complex problems
  • Enhance and modify systems and procedures to improve data analysis capabilities

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on customer experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to data analysis, computer science, statistics, business, or a related discipline
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Eighteen years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in a senior data analyst role, preferably in customer experience analytics
  • 1-2 years of experience in data management, process analysis, and improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and optimizing database performance
  • Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools to create compelling dashboards and visualizations
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets
  • Problem-Solving: Creative approach to problem-solving, innovation, and issue resolution
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders

Most of your time will be spent in a comfortable seated position with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
