Position Overview – First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Representative I

As a Remote FNOL Representative I, you will be the first point of contact for engineers, technicians, and field operators reporting damage incidents. Your role is critical: you’ll capture accurate claim details, analyze supporting documentation, and ensure that every report is entered flawlessly into our customized database. This position is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling across a 24/7/365 operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from field personnel reporting First Notice of Loss (FNOL) incidents.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and empathetic tone while gathering essential claim information.
  • Enter data accurately into arenaflex’s proprietary claim management system, adhering to strict data‑entry standards.
  • Analyze photos, maps, and other visual evidence to pinpoint the exact location and extent of damage.
  • Communicate findings to internal teams and external partners, including underground utility companies when applicable.
  • Provide outstanding service to customer representatives, ensuring they feel supported throughout the reporting process.
  • Participate in special projects and process‑improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain a dedicated, distraction‑free home office environment; arenaflex supplies all necessary hardware and software.

Performance Incentives & Bonus Structure

arenaflex rewards high performance with a transparent, tiered bonus system and a dedicated FNOL incentive program:

  • Tiered Support Bonus – Earn additional compensation based on total fees generated each month:
    • Level 1: $105 per pay period
    • Level 2: $150 per pay period
    • Level 3: $205 per pay period
  • FNOL Incentive Program – Daily earnings of $10 for meeting talk‑time, readiness, and service‑level targets. Payments are processed on the 5th of the following month.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF handling, and internet research.
  • Advanced phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong active‑listening capabilities to fully understand caller needs.
  • Excellent written communication for clear note‑taking and follow‑up emails.
  • Ability to read and follow scripts precisely while maintaining a natural conversational flow.
  • Competence in interpreting photographs and maps to assess damage accurately.
  • Self‑discipline to establish and maintain a productive home‑office setup.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Between 6 months and 1 year of prior call‑center or customer‑service experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus, though not required.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; candidates must reside within the United States.
  • Applicants from California, North Carolina, Washington State, Illinois, and Oregon are ineligible at this time.
