Job Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Beverage Equipment Service Technician to join our remote team in the Tampa area. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27 and represents an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude and a passion for customer service. As a key member of our service team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our beverage dispensing equipment operates at peak performance, delivering that perfect arenaflex experience to our customers.

This role uniquely blends technical expertise with customer interaction, allowing you to make a direct impact on how people experience our products. You'll work directly with business clients to set up and maintain beverage equipment, troubleshooting issues and providing technical support that keeps arenaflex products flowing perfectly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on beverage dispensing equipment according to arenaflex quality standards and protocols
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnosis of beverage fountain equipment issues with precision and efficiency
  • Maintain all refrigeration equipment in proper working condition, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Move equipment as needed to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and corrective repairs
  • Provide exceptional customer service by remaining positive, collaborating effectively with clients and colleagues, and building strong service-oriented relationships
  • Document service activities, equipment status, and customer interactions according to company procedures
  • Stay current with arenaflex product lines and equipment through continuous learning and training
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Respond promptly to service requests and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying equipment issues and suggesting solutions

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Technical aptitude for diagnosing and fixing mechanical equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Physical ability to move and position equipment as needed for service
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical reasoning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Reliable transportation to various service locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline
  • Previous experience with beverage dispensing equipment or similar commercial foodservice equipment
  • Technical certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or related mechanical field
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles

  • Knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Experience using service management software or mobile applications
  • Bilingual capabilities (particularly Spanish) are highly desirable
