About arenaflex

arenaflex is a trailblazer in the financial services industry, recognized as the first large‑scale bank to fully embrace the public cloud. Over the past decade, we have transformed a complex, highly regulated environment into a modern, data‑driven, AI‑enabled enterprise. Our engineering organization has re‑architected legacy applications, built sophisticated data platforms, and pioneered machine‑learning at scale. Products such as arenaflex Eno showcase how we turn cutting‑edge technology into tangible value for millions of customers.

Beyond our own ecosystem, arenaflex has open‑sourced several internal tools—including the arenaflex Custodian and arenaflex Hygieia—and forged strategic partnerships with leading technology innovators. Today, we are extending our suite of internal solutions as enterprise‑grade B2B software, helping other organizations accelerate their cloud and data journeys.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Manager, Customer Solutions Architect, you will be the bridge between arenaflex’s cutting‑edge technology and the business outcomes of our most strategic customers. You will lead a high‑performing team of solution architects, shape the pre‑sales and post‑sales experience, and influence product direction by championing the voice of the customer. This is a rare opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial leadership in a remote‑first environment.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Trusted Advisor: Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, addressing product, security, and architecture questions.
  • Customer Ambassador: Represent customer needs in internal strategy sessions, ensuring that product roadmaps align with real‑world use cases.
  • Value Demonstration: Identify and articulate the business impact of arenaflex solutions, turning technical features into measurable ROI.
  • Thought Leadership: Publish insights, lead workshops, and contribute to industry forums to position arenaflex as a thought leader.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of arenaflex’s product portfolio and broader technology domains (cloud, data, security, AI/ML).
  • Pre‑Sales & Post‑Sales Support: Guide customers from initial discovery through implementation, and provide ongoing advisory services for evolving needs.
  • Solution Orientation: Leverage the full arenaflex toolbox to craft innovative, scalable solutions that solve complex business problems.
  • Channel Partnership: Collaborate with partner sales engineers and sellers to deliver joint value propositions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with enterprise customers, documenting pain points, desired outcomes, and success metrics.
  • Advocate for the customer’s perspective in product planning, influencing roadmap priorities and feature enhancements.
  • Identify risk and growth opportunities within the customer base, partnering with internal teams to mitigate threats and capture upside.
  • Design and own end‑to‑end processes for product‑fit discovery, technical win validation, FAQ creation, objection handling, and feedback loops.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing guidance to both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Navigate ambiguous situations by creating repeatable mechanisms, driving clarity, and delivering business‑focused solutions.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives that align sales, product, engineering, and support to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Utilize data‑driven insights to proactively improve customer satisfaction and drive adoption of arenaflex solutions.
  • Challenge the status quo with clear, evidence‑based recommendations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular check‑ins with customers to reassess fit, uncover new use cases, and co‑create roadmaps for future value.
  • Develop and maintain technical support policies, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
  • Drive architecture and design reviews, translating business requirements into robust, scalable technical designs.
  • Document detailed requirements for data workflows, logical processes, hardware, and operating environments.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to prioritize technical and functional needs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating their relevance to arenaflex customers and internal product strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a customer‑facing role within a technology‑focused organization or entrepreneurial setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (sales, product, engineering, security).
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., arenaflex Cloud, arenaflex Compute, arenaflex Storage) and data‑cloud technologies (e.g., arenaflex Snowflake, arenaflex Databricks) and proficiency in SQL.
  • 2+ years designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large‑scale enterprises.
  • 2+ years experience developing, marketing, or supporting a client‑facing technical product or service at scale.
  • 2+ years in a cybersecurity role or strong familiarity with security concepts, coupled with rapid learning ability.
