Special Education Teacher Work From Home | New Hampshire
A Special Education Teacher with telehealth experience is needed for a contract position working with an elementary school in Newport, NH. This role supports 22-24 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing case management and tailored educational services. The position requires part-time availability, approximately 15-20 hours per week, aligned with the normal school year schedule. Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction using telehealth and in-person methods to meet student learning goals
- Manage and maintain detailed case files and documentation for assigned students
- Collaborate with families and school personnel to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification is required
- Experience working with diverse disabilities in an elementary school setting
- Strong case management and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively use telehealth platforms for instructional delivery
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
