Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Manager – Paid Media Insights to support and elevate our global paid media analytics function. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer’s leadership group to surface data-driven opportunities that optimize paid media spend, improve marketing efficiencies, and drive measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and data product teams to design, build, and deliver insightful reporting, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that shape our paid media strategy.

This is a part-time, remote position offering eight hours of work per day, with a competitive hourly rate of $26. The role is based in New Jersey, USA, but offers the flexibility of remote work for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

As an Analytics Manager at arenaflex, you will play a central role in shaping the way we understand, measure, and optimize our paid media investments. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Paid Media Reporting and Insights Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reporting and actionable insights in the area of paid media, ensuring that stakeholders have a clear, data-backed view of performance and opportunities.
  • Advanced Analytics and BI Development: Lead the design, construction, and continuous improvement of analytics, business intelligence, and data science solutions specifically aimed at enhancing the measurability of paid media and boosting overall marketing efficiency.
  • Media Mix Modeling Collaboration: Work closely with paid media data science teams and marketing teams to implement media mix models that guide budget allocation and channel strategy.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Strategic Recommendations: Conduct ad hoc analyses through database querying, followed by thoughtful interpretation of results. Translate these findings into well-communicated recommendations that inspire action and drive business impact.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted analytical partner to marketing, finance, and data product teams, tackling complex business challenges through a rigorous, data-driven approach.
  • Performance Tracking and KPIs: Develop and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards that track marketing and product performance, fostering a culture of accountability and results orientation.
  • Data Tool Mastery: Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create, maintain, and optimize both scheduled and ad hoc reports.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data to identify business issues, conducting deep-dive analyses to perform root cause investigations and deliver clear, actionable findings.
  • Data Integration and Synthesis: Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and utilize diverse data sources—including internal data from arenaflex platforms and external data from market research and advertising partners—to address complex business questions.
  • Customer Behavior Insights: Conceptualize and execute analyses that generate insights into customer behavior and customer needs, supporting ongoing refinement and improvement of our value proposition.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in analytics, data tools, and business acumen. The essential qualifications include:

  • Professional Experience: Demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce environment or a closely related field.
  • Advanced SQL Skills: Proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and extracting data from relational databases.
  • Data Visualization Expertise: Advanced experience with one or more industry-standard analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or Power BI.
  • Excel Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and macros.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
