Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Order Verification: Accurately input order details into our warehouse management system, ensuring each pick request is correctly logged and tracked.
- Cherry Picker Operation: Safely operate cherry picker equipment (up to 30 ft. height) to retrieve items from high storage locations, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Physical Handling: Lift and move items up to 75 lb unassisted and larger loads (150 lb+) using pallet jacks or bundle lifts, maintaining proper body mechanics.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage, correct labeling, and proper packaging before they are staged for shipment.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and flag overages, shortages, or discrepancies, communicating promptly with the inventory control team to resolve problems.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow pickers, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest process enhancements, participate in safety drills, and contribute ideas that streamline operations.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting with inventory counts, equipment maintenance, or special projects.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least six months of experience operating cherry picker equipment or similar high‑reach machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely at heights (up to 30 ft.) and lift moderate to heavy loads.
- Basic proficiency in English for reading safety signage and completing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to work full‑time shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
